Claire Montour and I birded a bit at Jackson Reservoir today. Compared to what has been posted the last few days from Jackson, was 1, Long-billed Curlew, 1 ad. Caspian Tern with a youngster begging to no avail, and lot's of Snowy Egrets.
**THE highlight was watching 6 Ring-billed Gulls hovering above, and picking and eating, Russian Olive fruits from the Russian Olive trees. This was incredible to observe. This was next to the campgrounds on the western side of the Reservoir.
Happy Birding,
