The Marina, Sandspit, Handicap Fishermen Pier and Plum Creek are all closed now until next May due to construction at Chatfield State Park. There are barricades at the perimeter road to all these locations. And the perimeter road will be closed beginning October 1st from the park headquarters to just south of the swim beach. They are building a new bridge over the South Platte River. The swim beach is supposed to open October 1st. Most construction should be done by next May.
