[cobirds] RMBO Barr Banding Station Report, 9/30/12

Slowest day of the season – only 7 new birds.  We were rewarded with a rarity – a Palm Warbler (Western).  There have been 4 captured at Barr prior to this one (2005, 2001, 1996, 1993).  Here’s today’s very short list:

House Wren       1

Orange-crowned Warbler            1

Western Palm Warbler  1

Wilson’s Warbler              2

Song Sparrow    1

Dark-eyed Junco, Oregon            1

Just a reminder – we are CLOSED TOMORROW (10/1) because our school group is coming in the late afternoon.  We have just 2 weeks of banding left, and both weeks we will be closed on Thursday (10/4 and 10/11).  Final day of banding this fall is Sunday 10/14.
