full report to follow.
Again a slow day at the Chico Basin Ranch RMBO banding station, and without any big arrival midmorning. About 20 new birds today. Best ones, though, were a Red-eyed Vireo, (hatch-year), and a Rose-breasted Grosbeak (adult female). I think that is our 6th RB Grosbeak this week. (!)
Also a few Ruby-crowned Kinglets, Orange-crowned Warblers, Wilson's Warblers, a HY male Sharp-shinned Hawk (tiny), Common Yellowthroat male, and several White-crowned Sparrows, Gambell's, and one Mountain.
Waiting for the Big Arrival,
Steve Brown
