[cobirds] North larimer county birds

Yesterday my husband and I hiked at Red Mountain Open Space -- almost to the Wyoming border. Exciting for us to see were canyon wren, ruby-crowned kinglet, and a thrush, probably hermit, among many sparrows, finches, meadow larks, and a family of four golden eagles, two juvenile and two adults. The juvenile were squawking the whole time as they scoured the hills, finally all four rose and flew south. The canyon wren was a first for me.
