Full report to follow.
Best bird today at the Chico Basin Ranch RMBO banding station was a Magnolia Warbler (hatch-year, sex couldn't be determined). Also seen (and reported to us by Bill Maynard), a Scarlet Tanager, Hatch-year (so a yellow bird without wingbars, and not sure if it was the same bird we banded earlier).
We had a big influx of Gambell's White-crowned Sparrows, and Ruby-crowned Kinglets, with still a few new Wilson's Warblers. Also a single female Audubon's Warbler - that makes only four this season so far.
Total new birds, about 35.
Good birding,
