[cobirds] Re: RN Phalarope Teller Lake #5, Boulder County, 23 Sep

Yep, a juvenile Red-necked Phalarope. Hannah and I saw and heard it this evening, Sunday, Sept. 23rd, at sundown. The two Pectoral Sandpipers were out there, too.

Take only memories, leave only footprints--and one orange shoe . . .

Looks like we have a Red-necked Phalarope (juvenile?) in the western half of the "lake".
I just made a quick stop there at 3PM.
Just checked ebird and did not see any other recent posts re RN Phalarope in Boulder County
so I thought this might be of interest.
A Pectoral Sandpiper might be in the far NE corner
but it was too far for me to ID definitively.  Still Greater Yellowlegs around but that was about all
I could see.
