[cobirds] Palm Warbler - Coyote Ridge Natural Area - SW Fort Collins

Sorry for the late post. While mapping a prairie dog colony
yesterday, I flushed a bird out of a lovely rabbitbrush stand that the
pdog colony is slowly chewing away and destroying. I saw a flash of
yellow on the undertail coverts and white on the outer tail. The bird
landed close and I got a nice look, very disappointing I didn't have a
camera. Pale supercilium, light streaking on the sides/flanks and the
tail pump summed it all up. What a nice visitor.

If you leave the Coyote Ridge parking lot and head out on the "trail"
to the west you'll pass a long flat section that has a pdog colony on
the north and south side of the trail, once the trail starts ascending
there's a nice stand of rabbitbrush just to the south. This is where
I found the bird. It's typically a busy place. Also, look for the
burrowing owl fam. on the south side of trail on the pdog colony.
