Re: [cobirds] Tennessee Warbler, Twin Lakes, Boulder County

There was a Tennessee warbler yesterday at Twin Lakes, along the trail a little east of the tree where great horned owls nested for several years.  Mark Holmgren and I got good views of it, and he posted pictures on the eBird list.  Sorry for the late post.  I went back early this morning and he was not there; possibly he went to Sawhill!

CObirders,
About 6:30 am back by Boulder Creek, there was a Tennessee Warbler singing high in the cottonwoods!!  It was with a small flock of Yellow-rumped Warblers.  Its sharp, staccato song was instantly recognizable.  Just to be certain, I asked my friend Karen Axe to play the song quietly on her phone.

Several Yellow Warblers and Yellowthroats were also singing throughout the area.
