[cobirds] Boulder lakes and reservoirs 9/21

Sandy Arnesen and I checked a few places this morning.  First North Teller Lake
continues to be the shorebird spot it Boulder County.  The Short-billed Dowitcher
first reported by Schmoker is still around as is the Pectoral Sandpiper.  Must
be something good in that mud.

Next we checked Sixmile Reservoir and found the juv Sabine's Gull reported by Peter Gent
and a juv Black Tern.   There are lots of Western Grebes and Coots at Boulder Reservoir and
we had a Sage Thrasher and Yellow-rumps.  But the water at Boulder Reservoir is high.

Went to Lagerman and found Western and Eared Grebes.

Some of these birds have been around for more than a week.

Good Birding,
Joyce Takamine
