I spotted an American Dipper near the 9th Street bridge over the Arkansas River. This is very early for them to move down especially with daily temperatures still often going into the 80's and the water level very low in the river.
I have been seeing Lincoln's Sparrows almost every day in several locations around the Canon City area. They seem to be back in good numbers. Warblers few and far between, almost all are Wilson's though I have seen a few Orange-crowned and one Yellow in past few days. A few Western Tanagers are still straggling through
