This past week (5/21-5/25) brought two White-winged Doves to my backyard in RoxboroughVillage. They did not stay long, feeding under the hopper feeder. Usually only one was present, but two were seen at one time once. Today they have not appeared so far. The white edge of the wing is distinctive, as is the white band on each wing when they are extended. A small black mark mark below each eye is also unique.
