[cobirds] Crow Valley Campground, Pawnee Grasslands — Weld

After an intense lightning storm and a bit of hail last night, there were lots of new visitors at Crow Valley Campground near Briggsdale. Highlights included Magnolia Warbler, Macgillvrays warbler, lazuli bunting, black-headed grosbeak, orchard oriole and close to a dozen yellow-breasted chat.  All the regulars were still around, including western kingbirds, bullocks orioles, brown thrashers, and swainsons thrushes.

Yesterday there were a couple of female American redstarts hanging around — I didn't see them this morning.

Good birding,
Laura Steadman
