[cobirds] Ridgway Banding Station Update 9/11/15

Today was a great day in Ridgway!
It has been very cold in the mornings, and somewhat slow - mostly Wilson's Warblers, Gray Catbirds, and a few sparrows. Today, however, we had a very special bird - a Hooded Warbler! It was a hatch year bird, and quite beautiful. Pictures are available. One school group of fourth graders was lucky enough to see the bird banded.

Other birds caught today were:
Wilson's Warbler - 4
Gray Catbird - 1
Song Sparrow - 1
