[cobirds] Bird Conservancy Banding at Chico Basin Ranch

We finished up the first full week of banding at Chico Basin Ranch with an additional 181 birds banded and five new species.  We banded 48 on Thursday including the first Townsend's Solitaire, Brewer's Sparrow, and Vesper Sparrow of the season.  Friday was our second highest day so far, with 75 banded, including a Black-and-white Warbler.  Out first Blue Jay of the season was one of 57 banded on Saturday.  Total for the season thus far is 438 of 36 species.
