[cobirds] Bird Conservancy of the Rockies - Barr Banding Station Report, 9/12/24

We had a decent start, but then got done in by wind.  Started closing nets about half way through the morning.  Ended with only 19 new birds (plus recaptured 9 of the many Wilson's we've banded in the past couple of days):

Willow Flycatcher 1
Hermit Thrush 1 (FOS)
Orange-crowned Warbler 1
Yellow Warbler 1
Wilson's Warbler 10
Chipping Sparrow 3
Lincoln's Sparrow 1

We are banding Tuesday through Sunday mornings (closed Mondays).  There is a public session most weekday mornings from 7:30-8:30, and three time slots on weekends, at 8, 9, and 10 a.m. There is a $7 fee and registration is required – click here to register!

Let me know if you have any questions,
