Hi
Recently at Cherry Creek Res there were100's of what appeared to be adult Ring-billed Gulls, but no apparent Juvenile-1st year types. It is known that the California Gull winters in areas along the Pacific Coast and that most adults winter in separate locations than the sub-adults.
Could a similar pattern of distribution be happening with the Ring-bills Gull population in Colorado. Perhaps some reservoirs have more of one age Ringed-bills gull than another It would be interesting information to know.
