[cobirds] Wood Thrush - Chico Basin Ranch (El Paso)

COBirders,

There was a fairly cooperative Wood Thrush foraging mostly on the ground along the cleared net lanes of the Chico/RMBO banding station in southern El Paso County (fee).  A few of birds in the area and at the Pueblo County migrant traps included:

Townsend’s Warbler – 3 – foraging mostly on the ground

Northern Waterthrush – 1 Bell Grove

Hammond’s Flycatcher - >10 – almost all foraging on the ground

“Western” Flycatcher – 4

Willow Flycatcher – a few

Red-breasted Nuthatch – 3 (Pueblo County)

Chihuahuan Raven – 2 – (El Paso County) at least 51% sure!

I will soon post a photograph of the Wood Thrush to Facebook, Colorado Field Ornithologists Group.
