[cobirds] Pueblo Labor Day (Sept 3rd) -- N. Parula/Blackpoll Warbler etc.

Van Truan and I birded a few Pueblo area spots this morning.  It was cloudy for most of it, which was good.

Pueblo City Park (mostly along the Frisbee Golf Course Creek)
Northern Parula - 2 (1 male, 1 young bird)
Cassin's Vireo - 1
Townsend's Warbler - 1
MacGillivray's Warbler - 2
Hammond's Flycatcher - 2
Olive-sided Flycatcher - 1
Warbling Vireo - 2
Western Tanager - 2
also, Wilson's and Yellow Warblers, Mountain Chickadees, Red-breasted and White-breasted Nuthatches.

The roosting flock of Turkey Vultures in the eastern part of the park, had a Swainson's Hawk with them.

Rock Canyon side of the River, near the Swim Beach:
Townsend's Warbler - 1
Virginia's Warbler - 1
Solitary Sandpiper - 1
Green-tailed Towhee - 1
Wilson's and Yellow Warblers

Snakeskin Picnic Area (south side of Arkansas River):
Red-headed Woodpecker - 1 juvenile

Osprey Picnic Area in Rock Canyon:
Eastern Phoebe - 1
Townsend's Warbler - 1
Brown Thrasher - 1
Willow Flycatcher - 2
Wilson's and Yellow Warblers

Along Arkansas River, below Pueblo Reservoir dam:
Baird's, Western, Least Sandpipers, also Spotted Sandpiper and Killdeer

Lake Minnequa in Pueblo:
Baird's, Western, Least Sandpipers, Wilson's Phalarope and Killdeer
