I birded some of the areas around Louviers this morning, from 7:45am until 10:15am. It started out quite windy and quiet, but the birding really picked up when the wind died down around 9am. The highlights of the morning were as follows:
Northern Waterthrush – 1, photo to be posted soon to my Flickr photostream
American Redstart – 1, female/juvenile type
Wilson's Warbler – 5+
Virginia Rail – 4
Olive-sided Flycatcher – 1
Dusky Flycatcher – 1
Plumbeous Vireo – 1
Hermit Thrush – 1
Gray Catbird – 4
Western Bluebird – 15
Cedar Waxwing – 2
Common Yellowthroat – 1
Brewer's Sparrow – 2
Lots of other birds around as well, making it a very nice day to be out!
Good Birding,
