[cobirds] Huerfano County Update: Tennessee Warber, Sabine's Gulls

It was glorious Fall day here in Huerfano County.

Our yard has had many (up to 20) Wilson's Warblers for the past week. Today a lone first year Tennessee Warbler joined them.

An early evening walk at Lathrop State Park was pretty quiet, but 2 Sabine's Gulls at Martin Lake made it very worthwhile. A very obnoxious boater accidentally did us a good turn by spooking them out of the water and giving us good clear looks of the striking pied wing pattern, and black tail. We had a lone Sabine's Gull at Lathrop on 9/12/2010.

Alas, the Caspian Tern was a no show.
