[cobirds] Bird Conservancy of the Rockies Banding Report - Barr Lake, 10/3/19

Today we got done in by wind (which wasn't even in the weather report).   We opened a few nets for 1 1/2 hours, banded 1 House Wren, 1 Hermit Thrush, 2 Orange-crowned Warblers and 1 White-crowned  Sparrow, and then threw in the towel for the morning.  Looking forward to better weather tomorrow.

We are now opening nets at 7:40 and should have birds back at the station by 8:20. We are closing nets most days at 11:40. We are open 6 days per week, Tuesday-Sunday, through October 13. All of this is weather permitting! School groups arrive most weekdays at about 9:30. The best time to visit (fewest people, most birds) is before 9:30 weekdays and Sundays.

Come visit!
