ADAMS COUNTY:
—On October 18 a Surf Scoter was reported at what used to be called "Heron Pond" at Lowell Ponds State Wildlife Area, on the eastern most pond, by Bob Canter.
BOULDER COUNTY:
—On October 21 a Blackburnian Warbler was reported at Meadowview Park (last reported at Oakwood Dr and Barberry Dr, south of the fire station) by David Dowell.
—On October 21 a Black-throated Green Warbler was reported in trees just east from 29th Street, where it crosses over the small creek (Aurora Area). A Townsend's Warbler has been seen nearby. First reported on October 19 by Nick Moore.
DOUGLAS COUNTY:
—On October 19 an AMERICAN GOLDEN-PLOVER was reported at Chatfield SP—Plum Creek Delta; first reported there and at the Marina Sandspit October 12 by Joey Kellner. It was accompanied by other shorebirds, including Black-bellied Plover, Dublin and Pectoral Sandpiper.
JEFFERSON COUNTY:
—On October 21 a Magnolia Warbler was reported at Denver West Office Park; it was in a flock which included Townsend's Warblers; a Nashville Warbler and a possible Chestnut-sided Warbler. First reported on October 20 by Kevin DeBoer.
LARIMER COUNTY:
—On October 19 a Pacific Loon and (2) Common Loons were reported at Douglas Reservoir by John Shenot.
—On October 16 a LESSER NIGHTHAWK was reported at North Shields Pond Natural Area by David Wade.
MESA COUNTY:
—On October 21 a Surf Scoter was reported at Horsethief State Canyon Wildlife Area by Joshua Martinez.
—On October 20 a sub adult male BROAD-BILLED HUMMINGBIRD was reported at a private residence in Palisade. The address is 566 36 Road (East Orchard Mesa ). The house is at the end of a long driveway just across from the fire station. The house is on the right side of the drive. The hummer is still coming in on a regular basis to the driveway feeder. Best time for viewing is in mornings when the sun is on the driveway feeder. It is in the shade after 2 pm. Visitors are welcome to view FROM THE DRIVEWAY and park along the driveway. First reported on September 28 by Gene Byrne. This would be the fourth state record, the first in 2002 was also in Mesa County.

—On October 17 a POMARINE JAEGER was reported at Antero Reservoir by Kevin DeBour.
YUMA COUNTY:
—On October 19 a SPRAGUE'S PIPIT was reported in Hale at "Pipit Hill". (3) First reported on October 5 by David Dowell.
