On our monthly bird survey of the Peschell open space east of Longmont and just inside Weld County (south of 119 on County Line Road), we managed to find 1 male Mountain Bluebird and 10 male Yellow-headed Blackbirds. The YHBLs are in a section of the property that isn't yet open to the public but the bluebird was close to the southernmost field as you stand in the parking lot.Kat Bradley-BennettLongmont
