The short-billed dowitcher found earlier by Bill Schmoker and Ted Floyd was present in the same location at 2 pm today. It was all by itself on the north shore of Teller Lake 5; some twenty killdeer were scattered around the water perimeter. A close view in good light showed the tertial feather pattern clearly. Thanks for the heads up, guys.
