[cobirds] Sage Grouse, Moffat Cty.

Hello birders,

I walked around off Moffat County Road 36 this early afternoon looking for Green Snake. Turns out I wasn't even the area recommended to me for Green Snakes....However, I did have 6 GREATER SAGE GROUSE. The first one just about gave me a heart attack when this enormous Object erupted from the sage about 15 feet in front of me.

Nothing else unusual. It was nice to get my first CO Sage Grouse; I saw my lifers this last spring in SE Oregon, and had not yet seen them in Colorado.

Good birding,

Holly Reinhard
Hayden, CO (for now!)
