[cobirds] RMBO Barr Banding Station Report, 9/22/12

The number of new birds continues to be in the mid-30s, with lots of species diversity, which we shared today with Hugh and Urling Kingery’s ASGD Beginning Birder Class.  Here’s the breakdown for the day:

Swainson’s Thrush          1

Orange-crowned Kinglet              4

Myrtle Warbler 1 (the 1st MYWA – very young – after 16 AUWAs)

Wilson’s Warbler              4

Yellow-breasted Chat    1

Green-tailed Towhee    1

Spotted Towhee              1

Chipping Sparrow            2

Song Sparrow    2

Gambel’s White-crowned Sparrow          4

Dark-eyed Junco, Oregon            4

Dark-eyed Junco, Pink-sided      2

Dark-eyed Junco, unknown        1

 

Day off this week is Wednesday.  Otherwise, open every day, weather permitting.
