[cobirds] Pueblo rare birds continue 9/22

I was joined by other birders (David Chartier, Glenn Walbek, Robb Hines, and Mark Miller) today in Pueblo, the following were the highlights:

Philadelphia Vireo - 1 on the North Side of the River, near the Swim Beach, seen by Charter and I), this is way west of where yesterday's bird was, so maybe not the same bird.  Photos taken.

Yellow-throated Warbler - 1 in the tall cottonwood trees in the middle of Osprey Picnic Area (this is the last picnic area on the North Side of the Arkansas River, below Pueblo Reservoir dam).

Blue-headed Vireo - 1 with a Plumbeous in the East end of the Osprey Picnic Area (probably yesterday's bird).

Rose-breasted Grosbeak - 1 female/immatue in West end of Osprey Picnic Area, seen by Chartier and I.

Lots of Townsend's Warblers in the Osprey Picnic Area, probably like 15-20 birds.

Cassin's Vireo - 1 with a Plumbeous Vireo and a couple of Townsend's Warblers, west of the Valco Ponds parking lot, this is on the South Side of the Arkansas River.

Other warblers today were:  1 Yellow, few Orange-crowned, some Wilson's and Yellow-rumped, and a couple of Common Yellowthroats.

Good birding,
