It was a wonderfully foggy, misty morning here in Huerfano County. An inch of rain fell last night...the most moisture we have had for 4 months! While walking by dog at Wahatoya State Wildlife Area found a Caspian Tern. New Colorado/Huerfano County bird! Was able to see it next to a Ring-billed Gull. Observed it in flight with a smaller non-breeding Forster's Tern.
