[cobirds] Ridgway Banding Station - Bird Conservancy of the Rockies (09/13/25) – Ouray Co.

We were able to operate for half the morning as usual before the wind and rain picked up. Today was our last day at Ridgway for the fall. Although we had our expected Wilson's warblers, it was nice to get three hatch year Western Tanagers. Our final bird of the season was a gorgeous adult male MacGillivray's. We end our season here with a total of 147 banded/recaptured birds across 28 species. Excited to pick things back up in Grand Junction at Connected Lakes next week!

9 Newly Banded Birds:

MacGillivray's Warbler: 1

Northern House Wren: 1

Western Tanager: 3

Wilson's Warbler: 4

0 Recaptured Birds

Have a blessed day!
