[cobirds] Chico Basin Ranch Banding Report/ Bird Conservancy of the Rockies- May 30, 2024

The second to the last day of spring banding at Chico Basin Ranch produced a few more Swainson's Thrushes which one or two were singing earlier in the morning.
We did end up catching the Chestnut-sided Warbler we banded earlier in the week. it gained a gram of mass. I imagine it is ready to migrate.

Western Wood-pewee- 1
Lincoln's Sparrow- 1

With one day of banding left, I am grateful for the opportunity to be working for Bird Conservancy of the Rockies and for the hospitality of Ranchlands on Chico Basin Ranch.
If interested in birding on the ranch the last day tomorrow- Please register/sign up on the Aiken Audubon Website for a morning visit. Birding on Chico Basin Ranch is by reservation/registration.
Please stop by the banding station to share your bird or wildlife sightings.

Have a good day,
