Okay, I know this is NOT a rarity in Jeffco, but it is in our little part of it! We live about 1/3 of a mile south of Clement Park (Wadsworth and Bowles) - it's been over nine years now, and this is the first western scrub jay I've seen in our yard, or in this particular area for that matter. We're usually 4-5 miles farther west on the hogback south to Roxborough when we see them. Exciting to have a new yard bird!
