Please feel free to join us for the annual Fountain Creek Regional Park (FCRP) fall bird count on Sept 12. This is the 19th year of this count. (the annual Spring count has been going since 1991).
For planning purposes, please RSVP by phoning FCRP at 719-520-6745, or replying to this email (SGetty@ColoradoCollege.edu) if you wish to participate. The new FCRP nature center requests a $5/person donation to help support their excellent winter feeder seed program. (…it’s wonderful for educational purposes)
Where: Fountain Creek Nature Center (320 Peppergrass Ln, Fountain, CO, 80817)
When: 7:30 – 10:30 AM, Sept. 12, 2015
What to bring: Binoculars, field guides, cameras, water, sunblock
We will provide: Coffee, orange juice, breakfast goodies beforehand

At 10:30 AM or so, we will reconvene at the FCRP Nature Center to tally species found. It is always exciting to compare surprises with years past. Cameras are very important for documentation, so please bring yours!
