A BIG banding day before the storm that I still can't accept is coming! We banded 78 new birds, plus caught 23 from prior days, for a total of 101 individuals. Here's the breakdown of the 78 new birds:

Dark-eyed Junco, Pink-sided 18
Dark-eyed Junco, Unidentified 1
American Goldfinch 1
It is highly likely we will be closed tomorrow (Thursday)! Opening Friday will depend on weather; hopefully by mid-morning. Then hoping for a good final weekend of fall banding!
