[cobirds] American Pipit and Woodhouse's Scrub Jay [Weld]

Hi all

We saw our second Woodhouse's Scrub Jay ever in our yard (17 years) over the weekend. Also, Ruby-crowned Kinglet still hanging around, too. I did a dry run of Raptor Alley for this Saturday's upcoming trip, http://www.friendsofthepawneegrassland.org/event/679/nunn-guy-field-trip-raptor-alley, and saw the following of 35+ species:
  • Rough-legged Hawk - 1
  • Merlin - 2
  • Red-tailed Hawk - 20
  • Bald Eagle - 1
  • American Kestrel - 7
  • Northern Harrier - 1
  • Ferruginous Hawk - 1
  • Unknown buteo - 1
  • Golden Eagle - 3
  • Prairie Falcon - 2
  • Sharp-shinned Hawk - 1 (yard)
  • Mountain Bluebird - 8+ (CPER)
  • American Pipit - 2+ (Weld CR 124 pond)
  • Horned Grebe - 2+ (Crom Lake)
  • Prairie Rattlesnake (alive :-)
