Hi all!
-- I was doing my bird survey of Sawhill Ponds off of 75th Street with a friend early this morning when, all of a sudden about 7 am, a singing Black-throated green warbler appeared in a tree right in front of us! We were on a small path on the west side of Sawhill Lake No. 5.
This warbler, one singing Yellow-rumped warbler, and a couple of Western tanagers were the only migrants that we encountered in four hours today.
