Yesterday, while walking across campus (unfortunately, without bins) at the University of Colorado Denver, I saw a bright yellow warbler. It seemed too big and long for a Wilson's, but without bins there was no way to be certain. It was foraging in the ornamental trees by the central promenade, which are normally devoid of anything other than chickadees. I realize this is sort of a throw-away observation, but I thought it was interesting. Keep an eye out for interesting birds downtown! Apparently they're still making their way through.
