Hi all,
Joe Lafleur emailed me the following note this morning:"While visiting family in Denver, on Jan. 2 while driving down from Echo Lake on Hwy. 103 I think, about a mile before it intersects with Hwy. 74 I think, just S of I-70 near/in Evergreen, 3 Trumpeter Swan were seen sitting in ice of a small pond about 1 mile "west" of those highway intersections, just beyond a signed Wildlife Viewing area Elk meadow. Pond is on left side close to road."
I don't know the area myself, but I believe this is in Jefferson County. If I'm mistaken please feel free to correct.
