[cobirds] Fort Collins Redpolls

Greetings All

I have been part of the clan that has been hesitant to post the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery redpolls on COBIRDS. But, it is time to do so.

Today, there were at least 2 male and one female Hoaries present. Yesterday, Rachel Hopper photographed a female that was different from today's female. To see pics of two of the birds seen today, you can go to my FLICKR site at http://www.flickr.com/photos/36088296@N08/

Please note that these pics were taken by Cathy Sheeter, not me. I have some shots of same birds, but hers are better :o) --- and she was quicker to get to the editing.

Since 50-100 redpolls were present nearly continuously at the feeders, with more calling in trees behind us, the possible total number of redpolls present in mind-boggling. I will try to sort through my photos, and hopefully, have more photos to put onto my photostream by day's end.
