[cobirds] Sat., April 26, Wheat Ridge Greenbelt with Paula Hansley

Sponsored by Boulder County Audubon:

Saturday, April 26, 7:30am - 12:30pm

"Wheat Ridge Greenbelt"

Join Paula Hansley for a half-day outing to this great slice of riparian habitat along Clear Creek. The area will be a hot bed of activity for migrating land birds as well as water fowl and wetland obligate birds. Sightings should include several warbler species, Sora and Virginia Rails, breeders such as Northern Orioles, Lazuli Buntings and Goldfinch species. Paula has located some Bushtit nests, too! Meet at the northeast corner of the South Boulder Rec. Center at 7:30. Bring water, a snack and be prepared to walk about 2 miles. Please call Paula at 720 890 2628 to sign up for this outing.
