Yesterday morning Apr 26 a male TOWNSEND'S WARBLER was with some Yellow-rumpeds and Ruby-crowneds and others at South Ridge Road about 0.9 mile from Pleasant Run Road, in the mountains of Jeffco. It even sang several times. At Bear Creek Park a male LAZULI BUNTING bunting was in a shrubby area near Bear Creek upstream of Skunk Hollow picnic area. An AMERICAN DIPPER was singing at the creek downstream of Skunk Hollow.
-- This morning Apr 27 I heard a WESTERN TANAGER singing away in my Ken Caryl Valley neighborhood, not much welcomed by the windy gray skies, but apparently undaunted.
