Re: [cobirds] Prairie Falcon - Boulder Walden Ponds Jan 6

We also had a Prairie Falcon on the joint Boulder Bird Club/DFO walk Sunday morning perched atop of the highest transmission line pole near the only open water.

Today around 11 am there was a Prairie Falcon, in the small stand of mostly dead trees in the midst of the prairie dog town, on the west side of Mt Carbon.  I also saw what I think is the same bird last Thursday around 2:30 pm, on the north side of Mt Carbon, hunting low beneath the dam, southwest corner.  There is also a Kestrel which I see in this area almost every time I walk there, today the Kestrel was nearer  Hwy 285 with a just-caught mouse.
