I saw all 8 Rusty Blackbirds on the Platte on Thursday. They were north of the Denver Metro Wastewater outflow immediately upstream of the Plum Creek confluence. On Wednesday there were 9 black-crowned night-herons. Also a group of American Pipits north of I 270. Yesterday I saw the Trumpeter Swans at Lower Hoffman Lake. There is a bubbler there that could keep it open during the cold spell. Tundra Swans are still present at Valmont.
