While watching juncos and jays dodge blowing leaves in the backyard, I just had a WOOD THRUSH hop by about 3 feet from my back sliding door! Got very good looks in the light before it headed for the shadows in the corner of the yard. I think it exited the yard just as I got my camera, but I'll keep watching. Definitely a new yard bird for me!
