[cobirds] Lewis's Woodpecker at Dowdy Draw, Boulder County
Hello friends.
Twas a magnificent day today in the foothills of Boulder County, both birdwise and weatherwise! First sighting of the day was a terrific aerial view of a Lewis's woodpecker flying eastward a few hundreds south of the parking lot. Didn't ever see it land as it disappeared over the hill. Other notables include several scrub jays and 17 wild turkey.
