[cobirds] Thayer's Gull at Chatfield (Douglas)

A nice adult summer (alternate) plumage just changing to winter plumage Thayer's Gull at the sandspit enduring the dozens of boats. Also thought I glimpsed an immature of the same species but it took wing before I could nail the ID. Also several Herring Gulls on the spit which will be inundated if the flooding goes through. Save Chatfield!! Thousands of Western gulls and one Clark's many in the marina harbor and east side cove.  Bob Shade
