Birders,
As a last note of the birds at CBR on 10/24: there was also a gray, 1st winter (see Sibley) Northern Shrike below the dam and a (very) Large, Gray Falcon in the area. Yes, there is also a Prairie Falcon in the area which was much lighter, smaller and had black axillaries. Bob Shade and I were not able to get a good look at the underwings of this large falcon but I did not see dark axillaries on it from my angle.
