Avian highlights:
- Two Yellow-breasted Chats, one of which was singing quite close to me and I finally got a good, clear photo of one after 14 years of trying. https://www.flickr.com/photos/mrselvig/51166828199/in/dateposted-public/
- A Black-headed Grosbeak in the same area as the Chats.
- FOY Bullock's Orioles. These are the early arrivals, the Cottonwood stand will have a whole colony of them in a week or two.
- FOY Lark Sparrows and Brewer's Sparrows.
- FOY Yellow-rumped Warbler.
- Two Burrowing Owls.
Non-avian highlights:
- FOY Coachwhip.
- A remarkably oblivious Coyote, which walked within 10-12 feet of me.
