I think duetting during courtship is a little different from what I hear after eggs are hatched and during owlet season. Duetting is often characterized by the "answer" coming on top of the "question", sort of an eagerness, if you will. Later calls seem more spaced out, more relaxed...and it sounds like the parties are further apart.
