I saw the Common Gallinule yesterday at 7:18 am at the Running Deer Marsh.
I was looking at a Virginia Rail preening on the small cattail island in the open water in the south east part of the marsh when it appeared in my field of view. It walked near the water but in the cattails. It went from west to east and I had a pretty good look where the cattails were more thinly spread out.
